Blue Brick Road

My "Yellow Brick Road" quilt pattern.  First one I've made this size.  The recipient really likes blue!!

Very sad today; my computer screen has a crack in it. It has the mark of a paint spot in the middle of the screen with little legs shooting out from it. It is under warranty, but it means I can't get it fixed until we are home and then it has to be sent out. Supposedly I can still use it, but if the spots get bigger then I have to stop. I will blog as long as I can. :-(

The most beautiful quilt shop just down the road from our campground. It's called the Meetinghouse Quilt Shop. It's an old church that sat empty for a long time until the owner and her family purchased it two years ago and did an amazing job fixing it up. They used the original oak pews as shelves and the original chandeliers are also being used.
This house still has furniture inside of it. Most of the roof is gone and the garage has collapsed.
Look at the trees; stripped of all vegetation and some are bent over from the force of the wind.
We stayed in a campground very close to Brimfield, MA which got hit by the tornado on June 1st. It came right up this valley; some houses are left untouched and others are gone. The front porch is all that is left of this house in the foreground.
